Module / DISTRIBUTOR ENTERPRISE
Chain, but not in chains.
The intelligence and coordination of a fully-owned retail chain. Distributed across independent operators who keep their autonomy.
Push your range to every reseller's Shopify, in hours.
If you import or distribute parts for powersport across a network of independent retailers, your competitive edge is reducing friction for those retailers. PowersportOS turns "we carry that brand" into a one-click reality. Products live in their Shopify store within hours, not the four manual days they spend today, and every product release, MSRP change, and safety recall reaches their storefront automatically once you publish it once.
Where this is heading
The strategic enterprise tier of PowersportOS.
Distributors are the channel partners we're built for. One distributor signed = hundreds of resellers in the funnel by way of referral. Here's what the bundled relationship looks like when both sides are live.

One push, every reseller's Shopify
Maintain your range in PowersportOS. When a retailer subscribes to your catalog, products materialize in their Shopify store with pristine data: photos (multi-image galleries), sanitised-HTML descriptions, submodel-precise fitments with position and notes, manuals, L×W×H dimensions, EAN barcodes, multi-OEM cross-references, lifecycle status. Eliminates the 3-4 days of manual product setup retailers spend per new brand they take on.
Live view of your reseller network
See which of your reseller customers stock which brands, in which countries, with what velocity. Replace the spreadsheets your sales team maintains by hand. Filter, segment, and act on real data.
New retailers join your funnel
A retailer who joins PowersportOS and subscribes to a brand you distribute is immediately a potential customer for you. The data already flows; closing the commercial side is the remaining work.
Bundle PowersportOS into your value prop
"Buy from us, run PowersportOS, your products are live in your shop within hours, and every product release, sales-stop, and safety recall from us reaches their storefront automatically." Real differentiation vs other distributors who can't say that. White-label or co-branded portal available at enterprise tier.
Continuous-value Channel Communications
Product push is a one-time-per-brand value (save 4 days on the initial onboarding). Channel Communications is the continuous-every-week value layered on top. Publish a blog post, product-release ping, MSRP change, or safety recall once in your distributor portal, route to every reseller subscribed to the brands you represent. Recalls force-deliver with 48-hour acknowledgement SLA and parallel email to the reseller's technical contact. Hard for a competitor to replicate, harder to walk away from once a distributor's resellers depend on it. Read the doc
The catalog architecture is already shipped
Multi-tenant catalog, brand subscriptions that auto-activate parts for retailers who subscribe, central-vs-tenant data separation, brand-entity metadata. PIM-grade per-part data: hierarchical category tree, multi-OEM cross-references with cross-brand attribution, L×W×H dimensions, EAN, country of origin, multi-image galleries, sanitised-HTML descriptions, fitment position + notes, manufacturer-side lifecycle status with replaced-by pointer. Plus Shopify product push, so a retailer can materialise an entire brand's catalog into their store with one click. The full distributor-driven flow runs on this foundation, not a from-scratch rebuild.
Stable API layer your tech team can rely on
Idempotent stock-feed endpoints, X-API-Key auth, tenant-scoped data. The integration plumbing distributors would otherwise build over six months internally is battle-tested. For complex setups, integration partners (Codeunit-tier in the Nordics, equivalents elsewhere) own the implementation.
Resellers running multiple storefronts can scale into Multi-Store
Several of the larger retailers in your network already run multiple Shopify storefronts: domestic plus B2B, plus regional country sites. PowersportOS Multi-Store lets a retailer maintain one canonical catalog with child storefronts pulling subsets, each with its own pricing and stock. Another argument for the retailer to be on the platform, another reason for them to take your brands on. Multi-Store details in docs.
The pitch in one sentence
"Save your retailers 4 days per brand onboarding."
Translated to outcome: more of your range in more of your reseller customers' stores, faster. PowersportOS is the operating layer that makes that promise real, and you're the channel partner that delivers it to the market.
Retailers don't switch e-commerce platforms because of a feature checklist. They switch because someone they trust tells them it'll save them real time. Distributors are that trusted relationship.
Commercials. Distributor tier is custom-scoped, starting at €50,000/year for the platform subscription (separate from optional white-label or co-branded portal work). The number filters tire-kickers, not partners. See pricing for what's included and how the tier compares to Manufacturer.
Honest status
What's live today, what's coming.
Distributor-specific features are on the immediate roadmap but not yet shipped. We're documenting them now because the partner conversations need to happen ahead of the build, not after. Distributor requirements shape what we build.
Catalog + brand model + tenant network
The underlying platform: central catalog with subscriptions, brand entity with metadata, multi-tenant network with stock-sharing. Foundation is in place.
DISTRIBUTOR tenant type + delegated brand permissions
Distinct from manufacturer and reseller. Delegated brand-content permissions so you can maintain catalog data for the brands you represent: Managed brands and Managed parts portal surfaces, CSV upload, direct JSON API, and per-provider adapters built when a brand ships data in a custom format. Distributor-portal views (aggregate stock per region, which-reseller-stocks-which-brand grid) are still on the roadmap. How the ingest model works
Shopify product push
The "push 80 SKUs to your reseller's Shopify in one motion" feature. Per-tenant push profile, variant-group products with per-variant images, bulk push with progress, stock-feed loop guard. Doc
Channel Communications
Publish once, route to every reseller subscribed to brands you represent: blog posts auto-published to their Shopify blog, product-release digests, operational alerts, safety recalls force-delivered with 48-hour ack SLA. Adapter pattern with Shopify Admin live in v1; WordPress / intranet CMS / webhook plug in via the same interface. Doc
